Abjoid Conscript

Abjoid Script

"Abjoid" is just a name for this script while I am developing it.

The abj part comes from the word abjad, a script class including the Arabic and Hebrew scripts. My conscript isn't really an abjad, but it is visually inspired by Arabic, and has a few similar features.

The oid part comes from the suffix -oid, meaning "alike in form".

Abjang Orthography

"AbjAng" is the name of the orthographic transcription method for writing English in this conscript.

The ang part comes from Anglo, that is English, hence why it would be a misnomer to use ang in the script name.

As most orthographic transcription methods are somewhat deleterious, the majority of my own conscript orthographies are based upon my own NewEng Orthography, a lossless English orthography.
